At Daily Us ("we", "our" or "the app") we take the privacy of our users very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use Daily Us:

• Account data: Name, email address and profile photo provided through Google Sign-In.
• Photos: The photos you upload daily to the app.
• Approximate location: If you allow it, we access your location for features such as couple distance. This information is not shared with third parties.
• Couple data: Information about the link with your partner, anniversary date and joint activity data (streaks, plans, question answers).
• Subscription data: Information about your subscription status, managed through RevenueCat.
• Notification tokens: Identifiers for sending push notifications to your device.
• Advertising identifier (IDFA): If you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt, we collect your device's advertising identifier to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and show you more relevant ads. This is optional and you can decline at any time.

2. How we use your information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Daily Us service.
• Enable partner linking and share photos and activities between both of you.
• Send relevant notifications (daily reminders, streak alerts, etc.).
• Manage premium subscriptions.
• Improve and optimize the user experience.
• Measure advertising campaign performance and attribution (only if you have granted tracking permission).

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your information is shared only with:

• Your linked partner: Photos, question answers, plans and activity data are shared with the person you are linked with in the app.
• Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the app:
  • Firebase (Google): Authentication, data and file storage, and cloud functions.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management.
  • Expo: Push notification delivery.
  • TikTok (ByteDance): Advertising attribution and analytics, via the TikTok Business SDK. TikTok may receive your advertising identifier (IDFA) and app interaction events (e.g. app opens, registrations) only if you have granted tracking permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt. 4. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple requires apps to ask for your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites. When you first open Daily Us, you will see a system prompt asking whether to allow tracking.

• If you allow tracking, your advertising identifier (IDFA) may be shared with TikTok for advertising attribution purposes.
• If you decline, no advertising identifier is collected or shared. All core app features remain fully available.

You can change this preference at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iPhone.

5. Storage and security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers through Firebase. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
• Database security rules that limit access to each couple's data.
• Secure authentication through Google Sign-In.

6. Data retention

We retain your data as long as you maintain an active account on Daily Us. If you stop using the app, your data will remain stored until you request its deletion.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Rectify incorrect information.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your data in a readable format.

8. Children

Daily Us is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Daily Us after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
